Have you ever fractured a tooth? Do your teeth look dark blue to black? These situations can be caused when a filling is too large and becomes defective. In addition, if a cavity is large it will also weaken the tooth and a filling is not the answer. Rather than replace all the tooth structure with a crown, Dr. Gazerro may suggest a more conservative restoration called an Inlay or Onlay.<\/p>\n

The tooth is prepared selectively by removing only the weakened or compromised areas. Using our CEREC<\/a> CAD\/CAM system, the tooth is imaged, the inlay or onlay is designed on the comptuer and then fabricated in our milling device from a solid block of porcelain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
